Gather Information

To get started, we need to gather some information from you. This can be found in the Excel document that you are asked to download. All fields must be completed.

In the Excel document, there are three tabs: one for Polaris, one for Sierra SMS, and one for Sierra IPA. If this is a Polaris library, ignore the Sierra SMS / Sierra IPA tabs. If it is a Sierra SMS / Sierra IPA library, ignore the Polaris tab.

  • Fields highlighted in green are mandatory and must be completed.
  • Ensure all rows highlighted in red turn to green before submission.

Download the document, complete the information, and when you are ready, click the "Submit Config / Change Request" button on the left to send your completed form and Excel file to our team.

Change Request Form

You can download the Message Request Form, which is used to update SMS or voice messaging sections in any language. Accurate and timely updates are crucial for maintaining clear communication with your users.

  1. Copy all messages from your original Excel file into the designated fields.
  2. Enter your updated text and highlight any changes in yellow.
  3. Rename the file with an updated version number (for example, v1, v2, v3).
  4. Review the character count indicator for each message. Green indicates compliance. Red indicates the message exceeds the allowed SMS or Voice limits and must be corrected.
  5. Do not submit the file if any cell is marked red. Non-compliant messages will be rejected.  
  6. Once all updates are complete, return to the website and select the “Submit Config / Change Request” option to upload the revised file.  
  7. Please allow up to 7 business days for review and confirmation.  

After updating your Excel sheet, click the "Submit Config / Change Request" button on the left to upload the new version to our team.

Production Guidelines

To ensure a smooth production process, please follow these guidelines:

Supported Actions:
  • Hold: Placing a hold on an item
  • Hold Cancel: Canceling a previously placed hold
  • Overdue: Notifications regarding overdue items
Important Notes:
  • We do not support fee-related actions in production.
  • Avoid duplicate titles to prevent message generation issues.
  • Ensure messages are clear and concise.
